What is mondro?
mondro is an online auction community that was created with you (yes, you) in mind. The site's design and functionality was developed in a simple yet powerful format to make it easy to use, whether you're new to the Internet or a master of online auction sites.
How much does mondro cost?
Nothing! It’s completely FREE! There is no charge for buying or selling on mondro.com.
Do I have to register?
We highly recommend that you register to use the full features of the site. By signing up, you’ll have access to features like buying and selling, watching items and sending messages to other community members. Oh yeah, and it’s FREE!
How do I post an item for sale?
It's quite easy. First you have to register for an account. Once that is taken care of, click on "Sell" in the upper right corner of the page. Then you’ll be directed to the "Sell Your Item" page. Fill that out, upload your pictures, preview your post and then submit.
How do I bid on an item?
First you need to register for a mondro.com account. Once logged in, you can go to the listing page of any item. Once there, enter the maximum dollar amount you would like to pay for the item. This is not necessarily the amount you will have to pay. It just means that you will pay no higher than your maximum bid amount. Once set, you will have the ability to increase your maximum bid but can’t decrease it (so make sure you don’t bid more than you are willing to pay for an item). Then click "Place Bid" and you're done. Don’t let your item slip away! Check back frequently to make sure you haven’t been out bid.
Can I upload images when selling an item?
Of course! We allow you to upload up to 10 pictures for every item you sell. Just be sure to keep the size to 4MB or less and the format to .jpg, .jpeg, or .gif. Oh yea, and that’s free too!
How do I cancel an item listing?
Your item can be cancelled at any time as long as there have not been any bids placed. Once an item has a bid, the agreement between the seller and potential buyer is in effect and the only way the listing can be retracted is if the buyer and seller mutually agree.
Can I cancel my bid on an item?
Now why would you want to do that? Unfortunately you can’t cancel your bid once placed so make sure the maximum bid amount is no more than what you are willing to pay for an item.
How do I pay for the item if I win the auction?
Great question! The seller of the item must disclose their payment terms on the item listing itself. Please review the terms prior to placing your bid. If you have any questions about the methods of payment the seller accepts, please contact the seller before you bid to ensure you are able to pay using the seller’s preferred method.

After the item has ended, the seller has an option of sending an invoice to the buyer which will include the final cost of the auction, including shipping and any applicable taxes. Once invoiced, the buyer will send their shipping address to the seller.

How does the user rating system work?
After every transaction, both the buyer and seller will have the opportunity to rate their experience using a 5 star rating system, with five starts being the best. mondro.com encourages both buyers and sellers to rate each other's performance. Things to consider when providing your rating are buyer/seller communication, speed of transaction, speed of shipment, and overall simplicity of the transaction.

Remember, we’re all human and sometimes mistakes happen; leaving a low rating won’t necessarily solve the problem. Before leaving a negative star rating, contact the buyer/seller and try to resolved the issue with them first. This is usually the quickest and most effective way of addressing your concerns. Once a rating has been submitted, it cannot be changed.
How do I provide feedback about the site?
Click the "Provide Feedback" link located on the bottom of every page on mondro.com. We are a growing company and want any feedback you can provide. Remember, our main purpose for the site is, well, you. Whether a link is broken, you can’t log in, you have an awesome idea, or want to tell us how much you love us (or hate us :-/), we would love to hear from you
What is your role in resolving customer disputes?
mondro.com is the platform in which sellers can use to sell their items and buyers can bid on whatever they find. mondro.com does not provide support for handling customer disputes. This should be taken up with the buyer and seller individually and reflected within the 5-star rating system.
Is my information kept confidential?
All information submitted is secured using 256-bit encryption. No registered user’s personal information will ever be distributed outside of mondro.com.

What is the FREE category?
The Free category is there for you if you want to give items away to someone in your area. The items can be anything and everything. All we ask is that the items in this category are in reasonably fair condition and useable. However, if an item is flagged, we will review it, and if we feel the item does not meet this criteria, we will take it down.
Why is this site so cool and easy to use? And why are you guys so cool?
When the thought of creating this site came to mind, we wanted to build an interface that could be easily used by anyone, regardless of their computer skill. We tried to keep it as simple as possible yet included features that would be powerful for both buying and selling.

As for why we're cool? We're just trying to adjust to the times. But seriously we're not that cool, really.
